Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No. AuriScanner PDF does not require an account to scan, save, or organize documents.

Are my documents uploaded to the cloud?

Not by default. Documents are stored locally on your device. If you share, export, or save them to another service, you control that action.

How do I create a backup?

From Settings, export a local backup and save it somewhere you can recover later, such as iCloud Drive or another personal storage location.

Can I recover deleted documents?

You can restore documents that remain in the local trash. If you emptied the trash or the retention period expired, the app cannot guarantee recovery.

Does the app include ads or purchases?

The initial version includes no ads or in-app purchases.

Before requesting support

  • Confirm you are using the latest available version.
  • Do not send private or sensitive documents through support channels.
  • Describe where the problem happened: scanning, editing, saving, categories, backup, or import.
