Summary
AuriScanner PDF is a local-first app for scanning, organizing, and saving documents as PDFs on your device.
It does not require an account or cloud storage and does not upload your documents to our own servers.
Data handled by the app
The app may work locally with:
- images captured with the camera when you choose to scan;
- photos or files you choose to import;
- PDF documents created inside the app;
- document names;
- categories, colors, icons, and descriptions you create;
- local backups you export or import;
- local records of actions such as imports, deletions, restores, or backups.
This data stays on your device unless you choose to share, export, or save it outside the app.
Camera, photos, and files
AuriScanner PDF requests camera access only when you choose to scan a document. If you import a photo or file, the app uses it to create or update a document inside the app.
Sharing and export
You can share documents, categories, or backups using system options. When you export content to another app, service, cloud provider, or person, that processing depends on your decision and the destination's policies.
Local backup
AuriScanner PDF lets you create exportable backups of your documents and settings. The app does not store those backups on our own servers: you choose where to save them.
Account, cloud, ads, and analytics
Version 1.0 requires no account, includes no ads or in-app purchases, uses no remote analytics, and does not sell your documents or data.
If a future version adds ads, purchases, analytics, or external services, this policy will be updated before those features are enabled.
Deletion and trash
Deleted documents may remain temporarily in the local trash. You can restore or permanently delete them from the app.
Security
AuriScanner PDF stores documents locally on the device. Device security, system backups, iCloud, third-party apps, and external services depend on the user's settings and those providers.
Website
This informational website requires no account, contains no forms, and uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies in this version.
Support email
If you email support, we process the sender address and the content you choose to provide so we can reply and follow up on the case. Do not send documents, images, backups, or sensitive information.
Incoming email is routed by Cloudflare Email Routing to an operational Google Gmail inbox, and replies are sent through Amazon Simple Email Service (AWS SES). These providers may process technical and email data under their own policies and security measures.
We retain messages only while needed to provide support, maintain operational continuity, or meet applicable obligations. You can request deletion through the same channel.
